The camera and the camera equipment is one of the most important things when it comes to shooting a movie. There is lots of camera equipment to choose from and each item of equipment will have a specific purpose. When it comes to the camera if you have a high end camera it is going to shoot better quality video than a budget camera.

Camera

There are different camera that can be used to shoot video. There is:

• Point and shoot camera's
• Camcorder's
• DSLR's

There are different advantages and disadvantages to the different types of cameras. For example, a point and shoot camera is very compact which means it can be easy held with one hand. On the other hand, a DSLR allows you to create the exact shot you want because of all the manual features.

The correct camera and camera equipment can allow you to get the exact shot you want. For example, if you wanted a smooth pan shot where you follow a character that is walking then you will need a tripod with a fluid head so that you get the smooth pan.

In our piece we are using a tripod and lighting equipment because the lighting means the shoot look better and the tripod allows for stable shot and smooth camera movement.
