Storyboard & Shot Descriptions

Shot 1: 
This shot lasts for 2 seconds.
It shows the hacker walking down the corridor toward the room with the business man inside it. The hacker is carrying a bag that contains the memory stick.
This shot is an extreme long shot.





Shot 2:
This shot lasts for 1 seconds.
It is as tracking shot that follows the hackers feet as he walks down the corridor.
This shot is an extreme or big close-up.
In the actual sequence that we filmed we broke the 180 degree rule with this shot. However, the rest of the sequence follows the 180 degree rule and it is another technique that our group was being assessed on.





Shot 3:
This shot lasts for 1 seconds.
This is a shot from behind the hacker as he stands at the door. During this shot the hacker moves his right arm towards the key card scanner with the key card in his right hand and the memory stick (bag) is in his left hand.
This shot is a mid-shot.




Shot 4:
This shot lasts for 1 seconds.
This shot is match on action and it shows the hacker's hand holding the key card up against the key card reader.
This shot is an extreme close-up.
This shot has match on action in it. This is what we are being assessed on in our piece.




Shot 5:
This shot lasts for 2 seconds.
This shot shows the business man sitting at a desk in the room. His head tilts up from looking at the table toward the door as the hacker starts to enter. There is a briefcase with the money inside of it sitting closed on the table. The business man's hands are resting on the table. Then the business man says "Take a seat" and he uses his hand to point to a seat.
This is a 3/4 shot or a mid-long shot.



Shot 6:
This shot lasts for 6 seconds.
This shot shows the hacker enter the room and the door closes behind him. Then the hacker walks over to the table and sits down opposite the business man. Whilst the hacker is walking over to the table he has his eyes on the briefcase with the money in it. Once the hacker has nearly sat down he starts to look at the business man. This shot is an over the shoulder shot looking over the shoulder of the business man.


Shot 7:
This shot lasts for 3 seconds.
During this shot the business man says to the hacker "Do you have the drive?"
This shot is a mid over the shoulder shot looking at the business man.
Shot 6, 7 and 8 are shot reverse shot. This is another technique that we are being assessed on.




Shot 8:
This shot lasts for 2 seconds.
During this shot the hacker say to the business man "First, Do you have the money?" This shot has shallow depth of field which means that the back of the business mans head is out of focus.
This shot is a close-up over the shoulder shot.





Shot 9:

This shot lasts for 6 seconds.
In this shot the business man gets the briefcase with the money in it and he places it on the table in front of him. Then the business man slides the briefcase to the side.
This shot is a close-up over the shoulder shot.





Shot 10:
This shot lasts for 3 seconds.
In this shot the hacker places the memory stick on the table and slides it slightly towards the business man.
This shot is a mid over the shoulder shot.






Shot 11:

This shot lasts for 4 seconds.
During this shot the business man says "Do we have a deal?" Whilst the business man is saying the line he is looking at the hacker, but, once he has finished saying the line he looks at the money and then he looks at the memory stick.
This shot is a mid over the shoulder shot.




Shot 12:
This shot lasts for 1 seconds.
This short shot shows the hacker sliding the memory stick all the way towards the business man.
This shot is an extreme close-up.






Shot 13:

This shot lasts for 5 seconds.
In this shot the business man opens the briefcase to reveal the money and he turns it so the hacker can see the money and slides it to the hacker.
This shot is a mid shot from the side.





Shot 14:

This shot lasts for 2 seconds.
In this shot the business man says "Nice doing business with you". while he says this line he starts to look at the memory stick.
This shot is a mid over the shoulder shot.






Shot 15:

This shot lasts for 1 seconds.
During this shot the hacker nods at the business man.
This shot is a close-up over the shoulder shot.







Shot 16:
This shot lasts for 4 seconds.
This shot shows the business man stand up with the memory stick and he walks towards a computer. Meanwhile the hacker is looking at the money. The camera pans to follow the business man walking toward the computer and it show him putting the memory stick in the computer.
This shot is a long shot.



Shot 17:

This shot lasts for 1 seconds.
This shot shows the program running and it shows the business man sitting at the computer waiting for the program to finish running.
This shot is a close-up over the shoulder shot.






Shot 18:

This shot lasts for 2 seconds.
In this show the hacker is opening the door silently and leaving the room with the money.
This shot is a big close-up shot.






Shot 19:

This shot lasts for 2 seconds.
This is shot reverse shot because it goes back to showing the program running and it is nearly complete. The business man is still sitting at the computer waiting for it to finish.
This shot is a close-up over the shoulder shot.





Shot 20:

This shot lasts for 4 seconds.
During this shot the hacker is walking back down the corridor he entered through, however, the hacker is now holding the money and he is walking away from the room.
This shot is a long shot.





Shot 21:

This shot lasts for 1 seconds.
In this shot the program has completed, but, it says the program is fake.
This shot is a big close-up shot.






Shot 22:

This shot lasts for 3 seconds.
This shot shows the business man stand up quickly from his chair and he turns around towards where the hacker was. The business man has a shocked facial expression when he sees the hacker has gone.
This shot is a long shot.




Shot 23:
This shot lasts for 1 seconds.
During this shot the audience see the room through the eyes of the business man to show that the hacker is not there. This shot is handheld and there is a slight pan from side to side to show what it is like when the business man turns his head to check the whole room.
This shot is a POV shot from the business mans perspective.



Shot 24:
This shot lasts for 2 seconds.
This is the final shot and it shows the business man's angry face.
This shot is a big close-up shot.

  1. Good detail Sam, and good use of terms. You could highlight in colour the 3 techniques you're being assessed on to improve slightly.
